twinkle The reason why some posts are missing is because we had to apply a new update. We weren't able to backup the latest database (which includes posts, users, etc.) and as a result, we were forced to restore to the first database backup we took. That is why some posts that you may have typed earlier are not there.
But now, you can see the effect of the upgrade. We have new features here and there, private messaging, header links, tags, and more that were not present in the old installation. Translations are now built-in to the forum for certain languages.
Regarding your Back to School preparation post, we would be more than happy to do this. It would be a great idea to implement as I am sure many others may also seem lost in the transition back to in-person school. Stay tuned, we will soon write the post.
